DescriptionThis beardless male head wears a wreath of thin laurel leaves attached to a narrow fillet. Short hair is combed forward about the face. The head forms a rounded point at the top and is flat in back. The ears are sketchily rendered and slightly hollowed. A short, broad forehead anchors the triangular face. The rather deeply set eyes appear large because the eyelids are not carved. The mouth is straight and firm, and the chin forms a rounded point.On View
