DescriptionA large jar of globular shape with a short, flaring neck. The decoration is painted entirely in blue and consists of a large central horizontal band of scrolling vines terminating in large, rhythmically spaced palmette leaves. Above them on the shoulder is a crisscross motif within concentric lines, and below them near the base is an ornamental frieze of leaf and berry decoration between two large circular bands of blue.
