DescriptionThe Last Supper: The composition is divided into two halves. Christ is seated at a table with his apostles in a lower courtyard placed between two buildings. He holds two pieces of bread and John the Evangelist falls asleep at his side. A servant above is about to descend the steps with a large platter of food. A large fortified building is visible in the background beneath the dedication to Federico Borromeo at top center.
