DescriptionThis seal shows a man flanked by two griffins. The man wears a hat formed by vertical lines with a long tassel, a long beard, and a long mantle that contains diagonal lines over a knee-length garment, both with bottom fringe. At left is a crescent, at right a winged disc. The man’s arms extend over each griffin’s head as he steps to left. The griffins’ bodies curve toward the man, but their necks curve away. Each points toward the man and each has branch-like wings. A star motif, detailed by three intersecting lines, appears in the upper left and right hand corners. On View
