DescriptionA river landscape with a view of a small town in the middle ground and rolling hills topped with vegetation in the background. Three pollard willow trees, placed diagonally from the right foreground, grow smaller in size as they lead into the picture space. A bare tree in the left foreground is situated next to a footpath in front of a small house-like structure. A long, winding wooden bridge in the center of the composition leads across the river to a group of houses and a church, and echoes the curves of the footpath to the left.
