DescriptionThree fish, two bream and one torpedo fish, articulated with glaze and added white. The fish with glaze stripes is a two-banded bream (Diplodus sargus) with a black-glazed eye, speckles on chin, stripes behind head and gills, and stripes on tail. White outlines the belly, indicates fins and gills, underlines the eye, and marks a nostril. The slightly larger bream is a gilt-head bream (Sparus aurata).381 A thick white line shows the rounded belly; lighter lines depict fins and gills; the mouth is open. The torpedo fish is round and flat, with thick white outlines. A black spot indicates a tiny mouth and two white dots, the nostrils. The back has two pairs of black dots outlined in white; four black dashes cross in the center, with a white splotch in their centers. Dorsal fins are separate parts of the tail; a white patch is off-center on the tail.
