DescriptionIn the lower left foreground, on a platform covered with reeds and marine plants, a butterfly pulls a net from a pond. A second butterfly bathes in the central middle ground, sheltered by a large sheet supported by four stakes. A third butterfly stands on the bow of a ship, decorated with plants and flowers. A cartouche in the central foreground is inscribe with the words ‘Le Bain.’
