DescriptionMary Magdalen, partially clad in a rough piece of cloth, clings to a roughly made cross and reads in a book. A skull is between her feet. Behind her a winged child holds what appears to be an urn or vase and has carrots or parsnips resting in his lap. Rocks and vegetation around the figures suggest a wilderness.
