DescriptionMale figure kneeling with arms clasped in front, holding a thin rod (pipe?). One of a pair of kneeling figures, one male, one female. Associated with the Ogboni secret society. (Note: the name Onile with which the figures arrived refers to the Spirit of the Earth, a crucial figure in the rites and traditions of the Ogboni Society.
