DescriptionThe Virgin, in the Heavens surrounded by angels and putti, deliveres the Christ Child to St Francis. Etching, printed with considerable plate tone and apparently selective wiping of the head of St. Francis and the head and aureole of the Virgin to accentuate chiaroscuro.
