DescriptionThis cylinder seal was carved primarily using a drill technique that creates characteristic ball shapes. Most drilled-style cylinder seals were made between the ninth and seventh centuries BCE. Such seals generally show worshippers standing before deities, in contrast to later seals that show worshippers before abstract symbols.
